The charts below show the main reasons for study among students of different age groups and the amount of support they received from employers in the UK.

At the age of under 26 careers were 80% whereas interest was 10% only. For the ages between 26-29 it was 70% for career and 12% for interest. The career percentage kept decreacing till it was equal at the age of 40-49: it was 40% for both. For those over 49 career was 18% and interest was 70%. For employer support, the age of 26 and below was 63% and 26-29 was 50%. The support decreaced to 34% for the ages 30-39 whereas for those aged over 49 it was 43%.
In conclusion, the interest come above the career as students ge older.
